The surroundings, at back of the Maritime Alps, offers in every season beautiful landscapes, relaxing long walks, sightseeing tours to visit: the Bossea Grotto (one of the most important italian grottoes, in a large karst area) with splendid calcareous con-creations; the Casotto Castle (a Savoia country house for chase); the Vicoforte Sanctuary (a magnificent building with elliptic dome); Bastia S. Fiorenzo church (fifteenth-century frescoes); Mondov“ Piazza (Piedmontese Baroque art). In the neighbourhood it's possible, according to the season, to go in for many sports: skiing, hang-gliding, hot-air balooning, horse riding, golf, trekking, fishing, boating, tennis, mountain-bike, ice-skating, walking, free-climbing.
